An inclusive community centred on the gospel value of love.
All Saints is a Catholic community with a firm foundation in the teachings of Christ. We centre our work around a number of core values Pride, Community, Excellence, Family, Respect and Faith. These are at the very heart of our purpose and our day to day work.
Our College vision for student is ‘Be inspired. Be excellent. Succeed’.
Across the college, all staff will foster this vision throughout their work and thereby strive to ensure that we provide an excellent education for all of our students so that they fulfil and exceed their expectations.
The Learning Centre upholds the whole school promotion of Quality First Teaching as the first and fundamentally necessary step towards a more inclusive learning community.
After weeks of preparation and hard work from Mrs Summerfield and Miss Wakeham, the new Sensory Room, to be known as The Haven, is finally ready for pupils to use.
Mrs Summerfield, whose idea it was to create the welcoming and calming space for pupils, has decorated and furnished the room using donations from colleagues and members of the community.
Features of the room include a bubble-wrap wall, mood music and beanbags and many of the wonderful ideas in the room have come from the students themselves.
Mrs Summerfield envisages the room will be used by Learning Support and the Pastoral team to help support the mental wellbeing of our students. She would like to thank everyone who helped to set up the room, especially a gentleman from Denton named David who kindly donated the sofa.
We are committed to ensuring that all pupils make the best possible progress during their time with us. In addition, we seek to ensure that pupils with special educational needs (SEN) are identified and received the supported needed to ensure they too make progress.
As part of the SEND reforms following the Childrens and Families Act 2014, parents may like to see what is available in Tameside through the local offer.
