Safeguarding

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. ‘Children’ includes everyone under the age of 18. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. Safeguarding is about ensuring that everyone is safe from harm – safe from bullying, safe from people who could abuse, safe from discrimination or harassment, safe from radicalisation – and that we all feel safe in our environment.

All Saints Catholic College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment ensuring that all staff embrace the concept of “it could happen here.”

We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We strive to ensure that young people are alert to potential dangers in the world around them and can make informed and sensible choices. We have a dedicated Safeguarding Team at the school whose job it is to make sure that our children feel safe and can thrive and access fully their educational opportunities.
